I love to travel, although I haven’t been to many exotic places yet. Here are some strange hotels I think would be interesting to stay at.
The Boot – $244/night (New Zealand)
Hotel Costa Verde – $350 to 500/night (Costa Rica)
Asakusa Capsule Hotel -$30/night ( Toyko)
Flush Hotel – $50,000/night (South Korea)
Das Park Hotel – $100/night (Austria)
On the day of the Chimpanzee World Premiere we first attended the Disney’s Kids and Nature Celebration which was amazing. At the celebration, 5 different youth organizations where honored and gifted with a $100,000 grant to help with their cause. In attendance, there were not only some amazing youths that have a desire to help our planet as well as help others learn to help as well, but I was also honored to see Jane Goodall come on stage in honor of her Roots & Shoots program.

Seeing Jane Goodall on stage was just the beginning of a great morning. After the celebration our group headed to Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for the Disneynature Chimpanzee World Premiere.
Once we arrived at the theater, it was time to walk the RED CARPET. As I am walking down the Red Carpet, I catch a glimpse of Jane Goodall just a few feet ahead and it is kind of neat being that close to this woman that has such an impact on so many people’s lives. Instead of worrying about finding someone to hurry and take a photo of me on the Red Carpet, I thought I would rather snap a picture of Jane Goodall myself. I knew I was going to have access to pictures of Jane Goodall on the carpet, but I wanted to catch a picture of her on the carpet myself too!
I did get a quick picture walking down the Red Carpet if you are curious what it looks like. I do kind of wish I had a good photo of me on it.
Once I was inside the theater, I did ask my new IRL friend Liz from A Nut In A Nutshell to capture a picture of me at the theater with my other new IRL friend Tricia from The Night Owl Momma. During this trip, I learned that IRL means in real life. I am really glad I had the opportunity to meet these ladies and can’t wait to see them again.
Once I make it inside of the theater, it is time to find a seat and wait patiently for the film to start. As we were seated and snacking on our popcorn, Jane Goodall entered the theater and the crowd started applauding. Just knowing that Jane Goodall was in the theater with us watching Chimpanzee made watching the movie even more special. That and being with 19 new mommy blogger friends. As the movie started, I was glued to my seats.
I will say that I LOVED the movie…. Stay tuned for my next Disneynature Chimpanzee post that will include more information about Disneynature’s new film Chimpanzee and my thoughts and opinions of the film. 🙂

Yesterday I boarded a plane in Sacramento and made my journey to the sunny state of Florida. This California girl was on a mission to make it all the way from the West Coast to the East Coast for the #DisneyGlobalEvent. I have only been here a little over 24 hours and have already made some new friends and also some memories that will last a lifetime.
Today while in Kissimmee I was very brave! Not only did I do some zip lining at Florida EcoSafaris, I also rode an airboat at Boggy Creek Airboat Ride, tried some alligator tail and even held a baby alligator. While it may seem to some as if I am on a little vacation away from home, I am actually working and have the opportunity to cover the Red Carpet Premiere for Disneynature’s new film Chimpanzee tomorrow that is in theaters on April 20, 2012. If you love animals, you definitely will want to see this film and be sure to stay tuned for my upcoming review. …
Last night was a fun night for my two youngest. We had the opportunity to watch Disney On Ice: Toy Story 3 that is currently showing at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA. This wasn’t our first Disney On Ice event, but it was definitely one of our favorites.
Toy Story 3, the Academy Award®-winning smash hit blockbuster, is so hot it’s cool as everyone’s favorite toys take to the ice in Disney On Ice presents Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 3! An accomplished creative team and a cast of world-class skaters are bringing Woody, the pull-string cowboy; space ranger Buzz Lightyear; Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl; and the rest of the Toy Story gang to fans and families around the country in this all-new, high-energy ice spectacular.
While we were at Disney On Ice last night, we seen some of the Toy Story characters you might recognize below:
While we love the Toy Story characters, it was really fun to see some new faces join the fun that include Barbie’s groovy bachelor Ken and Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear. Since I was a little girl who once LOVED playing with Barbies and have three daughters who have all played with Barbies, it was fun to watch the Barbie + Ken scenes.
We had a blast last night and can’t wait for the next Disney On Ice event to come to Sacramento. If you are a Disney fan, be sure to see if Disney On Ice is coming to your town.

Tonight the Power Balance Pavilion is going to be packed with lots of Disney fans for Disney On Ice: Toy Story 3. I have been to a couple Disney On Ice shows in the past and enjoyed each of the shows I have attended.
Tomorrow, I am taking my youngest two children to Toy Story 3 on ice and I bet it is going to be a blast. What I like is that each time I have seen a Disney On Ice show, it has been different than the last. We love all of the Toy Story characters, so we are going to be in for a treat and I am sure a ton of laughs.
If you are in the Sacramento area, the Disney On Ice: Toy Story 3 will be at the Power Balance Pavilion February 15 through February 20. Tickets start at only $14 and offers great entertainment and fun for the whole family. The next event is scheduled to be in San Jose, then in Oakland for those of you that are more farther in Northern CA.
Disney On Ice is not just for kids, it is for those of all ages. Don’t forget to bring some money for souvenirs and maybe some cotton candy. Each Disney On Ice event has always had really cool light up toys that your little ones are going to want. I always come prepared!
