When you have children, you tend to have messes and spills around the house. I think many of us have our own accidents too, where we can’t blame the kids. You know, like the times when you knock over your drink and have to hurry to clean up the spill before your carpet becomes stained. While my children are the ones that are making most the spills around my house, I will admit that I will occasionally have an accident too!
When we bought our house about 5 years ago, we decided to put tile in most of the house before we moved in. We had three kids at the time and already had to clean dozens of spills throughout the years on carpets that was no fun. I don’t think anyone enjoys cleaning spills out of carpets though. We did keep carpet in all of the bedrooms though. When I wake up and get out of bed, I want to step on carpet and not a cold floor. With having carpet in just the bedrooms and not the living area of the house, we don’t have too many spills that we can’t easily pick up.
For the times where there is a spill on our carpets, there is a new product that is going to come in handy around my house. Bissell has came out with a new pad that helps clean up spills without much elbow grease. You can actually now use your feet! When you have a spill, you can now use Bissell’s new Stomp “N Go stain-lifting pads to make cleaning the spill easier.
When you have a spill, you grab one of these pads and put them on the ground and apply pressure with your foot. You then leave the pad on the floor to absorb the spill. These are designed to permanently remove tough set-in stains like red wine, food stains, fruit juice, pet messes, mud, dirt, coffee, tea, blood and more.
