I am one of those that believes in supporting our troops. Even though I am not in the military, I have family that has served. Lets just say that I appreciate all the things that our troops have done for us.
Cheerios and USO is helping everyone give some Cheer to our deserving military families with specially marked boxes of Cheerios. This month you will find boxes of Cheerios on the shelves of the store that have special “Cheer” postcards that you can cut out. These are already pre-addressed to the USO, so all is needed is a friendly greeting to be written on the card and a stamp. Remember, these are only available on shelves through November 2011, but you can mail the card anytime you want!
We received a couple boxes of these specially marked Cheerios and some extra “Cheer” postcards. I had my three daughters decorate three of the postcards that I received from Mom Central for this campaign. I had to decorate 2 myself because I wanted to send some cheer too! So today, I sent off 5 decorated postcards with our mailman for the military families that definitely deserve some extra cheers this holiday!
You can help too! Cheerios is going to be donating $1 to the USO for each of the “Cheer” postcards that they receive from specially marked boxes through November 2012. To kick off this awesome program, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO. They also plan to donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards that are received. These donations will help to support USO programs that help support our military families.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cheerios and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to post.
