When it comes to printers, for years I stuck with one brand. Last year I decided to give Epson a go and I switched over to Epson for my printing needs. I have been very pleased and have no intentions on going back.
For the couple months I have been using the Epson WorkForce 840 to print my letters, pictures and whatever else I have needed to print. I have also been using the scanner on this machine to scan all my old pictures onto my hard drive. This scanner has come in so handy this past month because I am trying to get rid of all the clutter around my office. I am able to scan my statements and old bills and shred them to conserve space.
The Epson WorkForce 840 is one FAST machine. It is actually the World’s Fastest All-in-One and this is fine by me because nobody enjoys a slow printer. The Epson WorkForce 840 not only lets you print documents quickly, it also has an option for two-sided color printing too! With this machine you can copy, scan and fax in seconds. Don’t let me forget to tell you that it is wireless with Epson Wi-Fi too! I love that my daughter can print her homework from her laptop and not even be in the same room. The quality of the print is awesome and is dry when it comes out of the printer using the instant-dry DURABrite® Ultra Ink.
Here are just some of the other features of the Epson WorkFroce 840 I want to mention:
- 500 sheet paper capacity
- Extra high-capacity black ink cartridges = 2x more prints per cartridge
- ISO print speeds of 15 ISO ppm (black) and 9.3 ISO ppm (color)
- Smart touch panel – lights up only the buttons that you need
- Save paper – use the two-sided option to save
- Uses up to 70% less power than laser printers
- Front USB port – insert thumb drive and upload files directly to your PC
I would recommend this printer for all of you with a home office in need of a new printer. Even if you don’t have a home office, this is one cool printer to have at home. Not only can you print from your computer, you can also print directly from an iPhone®, BlackBerry or other mobile devices.
