When it comes to food, I love tacos and I love pasta. Well why not put the two together? This month I came up with Taco Stuffed Shells and my family LOVED it. I thought since it was a hit at my house, I would share the recipe with you too!
Here is how to make these YUMMY Taco Stuffed Shells in a nutshell…………
Stuff Your Shells!
Add some sauce and bake for a half hour
Remove from oven, add some chips!
Don’t forget to add the CHEESE!
Remove from oven, can you smell it yet?

Super Sized Taco Stuffed Shells Recipe |

Ingredients
- 1lb ground beef
- 12 JUMBO pasta shells
- 2 TBS chili powder
- 2 TSP cumin
- 1 TSP oregano
- 1 TSP salt
- 1/4 TSP pepper
- 1 TSP onion powder
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup enchilada sauce or taco sauce
- 2 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- In a skillet, add your ground beef, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper and onion powder. Cook your meat until no longer pink and drain fat.
- While you are cooking your meat, cook your pasta shells and toss with a small amount of butter.
- Add cream cheese to the meat and cook on medium-low until cheese is melted. Add ½ cup crushed tortilla chips. Stir and blend the cheese well through meat mixture.
- In a 9×13 baking pan, add salsa to cover bottom of pan.
- Stuff each of your jumbo shells with your meat mixture and place each shell in the baking dish. Add enchilada/taco sauce to top of each shell to cover.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add remaining crushed tortilla chips and top with shredded cheese. Cook an additional 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove, cool and serve with your favorite garnish. (Sour cream, taco sauce, etc)
